At Marlborough Youth FC, we believe football should be accessible to everyone. Our inclusion and disability football programme exists to ensure children and young people of all abilities have the opportunity to enjoy the game, especially if they have not felt comfortable playing in a mainstream environment.
We would therefore like to express our sincere thank you to Marlborough College for supporting our inclusion and disability football teams by purchasing the playing kits.
As a community club built on the ethos of 'Football For All', we believe partnerships like this make a genuine difference. Marlborough College’s support helps us continue developing opportunities for players with additional needs and disabilities across Marlborough and the wider area. On June 3rd, during one of our weekly sessions at St John’s, the club will be taking the opportunity to formally thank Marlborough College with the presentation of a framed shirt.
Players, families and coaches will gather for the occasion, where our players will present the shirt to Hattie Woodhouse, a Lower Sixth pupil and member of the GB Paralympic Pathway for triathlon.
The presentation marks not only a thank-you for the College’s sponsorship but also a celebration of a programme that continues to grow in both scale and ambition.
Marlborough College has a long-standing tradition of community outreach and partnership work within the local area, supporting initiatives that create positive opportunities for young people and local organisations alike.
