Yep! It's that time again :-)

 

We're asking each team to send in one player nomination, a player who really shows what MYFC is about...

Deadline: Friday 5th April, 2025

The award is in its twelfth year and reflects how football ought to be played, i.e. in the best spirit, in line with our club values.

 

This may include skill and ability, but usually focuses on wider outcomes, e.g. a player supporting their team from the sidelines week on week, even when injured; or the player who is always the first to lift team morale when they are losing; perhaps a constant willingness to learn, improve, and assist those around them in doing the same. You get the gist. 

 

We need:

 

100-200 words on why you are nominating (so the descriptions are of comparable size).

What happens next? 

 

All nominations will go to a Club vote and a public vote, including via the local press. The winners will be announced at our end-of-season event in our Elcot Lane clubhouse on the weekend of 9/10 May.
